The path to the summit of Moel Siabod (2860 ft), with its unrivalled views of Snowdon, passes the cottages front gate and there are numerous other routes exploring the surrounding forests, valleys, rivers and lakes.
Lloft O.T. cottage sleeps up to four and is available from March through to early January. Bookings are typically on a weekly basis although short breaks may be available at late notice. Please see the cottage prices and availability page for more details.
Lloft O.T. was originally constructed as a garage and workshop. It was built in 1928 by the manager of the Siabod quarry, who lived in one of the nearby houses. The ground floor housed the quarry truck while upstairs was used as a workshop by a joiner named O.T. Williams. One of the quarry managers children, who still lives nearby, remembers being a frequent visitor to 'lloft OT' where he sat on the workbench and learned to count and sing.
Work on converting the building into a holiday cottage began in December 2007 and in May 2008 Lloft O.T. welcomed it's first visitors as a holiday cottage.
